The US Navy’s VFA-125 ‘Rough Raiders’ F-35C Fleet Replenishment Squadron conducted a period of Carrier Qualifications (CQs) on October 18 aboard the USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) off the coast of Southern California. The aircraft landed on and launched from Carl Vinson during day and night operations. ‘We’re supporting efforts to flight test the current helmet mounted display system,’ said LCDR Josh Reynolds, VFA-125’s operations officer.
