The first operational deployment by USAF F-35A Lightning IIs is under way. Six F-35s from the 34th FS, 388th FW at Hill AFB, Utah, arrived at RAF Lakenheath, UK, today.
The aircraft are expected to stay for a few weeks and will conduct local European operations.
The aircraft deployed are serials: 13-5072, 14-5094, 14-5096, 14-5097, 14-5098, 14-5102.
